How Did Castle FY Choose Which Powerlifting Clothing Products To Offer?

All of our prospective powerlifting clothing products, undergo rigorous testing out in the field, before we allow our Castle FY Powerlifting Club logo to grace them*. We yell at them, we get chalk all over them, we lift heavy things with them, we dribble on them ... you get the idea.
* May or may not be accurate, as our fields at the moment are knee deep in water ...

We've chosen to run with the brands and models we have, because just like you, we want our stuff to last a long time, but to be comfortable and stylish, with a reasonable price tag. There are cheaper, crappier, t-shirts, jumpers and hoodies out there, but if we wouldn't want to wear those, then we wouldn't impose them on anyone else.

For example, the Gildan 5000 t-shirt that we are running with initially, is like the Goldilocks of t-shirts, to me anyway. It's not so light and thin that it feels like you'll wear it out quickly, tear it if you turn around too quickly, and feel too much of the knurl of the bar through it.

But, on the flipside, it isn't so thick and heavy that you break out in a sweat moments after you put it on, causes skin problems because it doesn't breathe well, or allow enough movement to get through your training session ... or just everyday life ... comfortably.

Over the years, I've had plenty of experience with t-shirts like these ... from band tees to my funny/ provocative ones, and competition t-shirts (which are a completely different kettle of fish). Some are cheap and uncomfortable, while others are pretty flash and probably an overkill for what they actually are.

We've found a happy medium, from a reputable brand, with good supply here in Australia. But, if you have a particular brand or style you'd like us to investigate, then we are all ears.

Anyway, enjoy this little video I cobbled together, where I put one of our shirts through its paces. No cardio was harmed in the making of this film haha!
